The Association of Building Materials Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan, «O‘zsanoatqurilishmateriallari», was established in 2019 as a key industry organization coordinating and supporting the development of Uzbekistan’s building materials sector. It brings together enterprises engaged in the extraction, processing, and production of construction materials and serves as a bridge between manufacturers, government bodies, investors, and international partners.
The Association provides members with technical, economic, and informational support. It promotes the adoption of modern technologies, facilitates investment attraction, and helps expand the export potential of domestic producers. These efforts encourage equipment upgrading, product quality improvement, and wider adoption of international standards.
The Association also plays an important role in supporting Uzbekistan’s large-scale construction and infrastructure projects by helping match local production capacity with project demand. As the country implements extensive housing, industrial, transport, and social infrastructure programs, the Association works to strengthen local supply chains and reduce dependence on imported materials.
Among its most promising areas of activity are high value-added production, deeper processing of locally sourced raw materials, expansion of exports to Central Asian and other international markets, and attraction of foreign partners and investors. The establishment of overseas trade houses and active promotion of Uzbek products abroad further demonstrate the industry’s commitment to strengthening its position in regional and global markets.
For Central Asia International Hardware Expo (CAIHE), closer engagement with the Association can bring tangible benefits. Uzbek manufacturers, raw material suppliers, and institutional buyers may join the event, increasing the diversity of international exhibitors and professional visitors. It can also open practical channels for Chinese hardware, tools, and building materials technologies to enter Uzbekistan’s growing construction market. This two-way exchange strengthens Central Asia International Hardware Expo (CAIHE)’s role as a gateway between China and Central Asia and enhances its trade matching potential.
